VewMe LLC · Last updated: May 2026
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We have systems, processes, and checks in place to ensure that we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
VewMe is a creator-business platform that enables Creators to launch and operate their own branded subscription website, community, and digital storefront, and enables subscribers and supporters to access the content, communities, products, and services those Creators offer. When people use the Platform, they share some information with us. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it.
You agree and confirm that the lawful basis for processing your data is that, by participating on the Platform, you have entered into a contract with us, and the processing described here is part of that contract. To the extent we must monitor and control use of the Platform, the basis for that processing is to fulfill a legal obligation and our legitimate interests in operating a safe and lawful Platform.
If you have any questions about anything in this Privacy Policy or wish to file a complaint, please contact support@vewme.com. We will try to resolve any query or concern you raise.
Please be aware that:
we and certain third parties may review content to ensure the Platform remains lawful and is not brought into disrepute;
payment-card and bank-account details are provided to our chosen payment and payout processors, not stored by VewMe;
we do not sell your personal information;
we do not use your personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Users are either "Creators" or "Subscribers" (which includes members, supporters, customers, and visitors). A Creator publishes content, products, or experiences for Subscribers to access. Subscribers decide which Creators to support and what to access. In this policy, "User" or "you" refers to any Creator or Subscriber.
Regardless of whether you are a Creator, a Subscriber, or both, there are three categories of information we collect:
information you choose to give us;
information we get when you use our services; and
information we get from third parties.
Information you choose to give us
To open an account and use the services, you may provide:
your name;
a postal mailing address;
an active email address;
a username;
your date of birth;
for Creators, a copy of a government-issued photo identification and any tax forms we are required to collect (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN);
for Creators, payout/bank information, which is transmitted to and stored by our third-party payout processor.
To make it easier for others to find and recognize a Creator Site, we may also ask Creators to provide additional information that will be publicly visible, such as profile pictures, a profile name, logos, branding assets, and bio text.
Be careful when you provide us information about yourself or others; information you upload onto a Creator Site or otherwise into the Platform may be visible to other Users. If you contact us for support, we will collect whatever information you voluntarily provide so we can help.
Information we get when you use our services
Usage information. We collect information about the content you have accessed and the actions you take on the Platform, so we can operate the service and surface relevant features.
Content information. We collect the content you create, upload, or send on the Platform, including the metadata associated with that content.
Device information. We collect IP addresses and other identifiers and metadata from the devices you use, including hardware model, operating-system version, browser type, language, time zone, and application identifiers.
Location information. We may collect coarse location information based on your IP address. With your consent, we may collect more precise location information using methods such as GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell-tower data.
Cookies and similar technologies. Like most online services, we use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, including analytics and session cookies. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can usually remove or reject cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect functionality.
Log information. We collect log information when you use the Platform, including details about how you used the service, device information, access times, pages viewed, IP address, identifiers associated with cookies, report or violation flags, and approximate location.
Information we get from third parties
We may receive information about you from third parties such as payment and payout processors, identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention partners, analytics providers, and any social-media or sign-in services you choose to connect to your VewMe account.
We use the information we collect to:
develop, operate, deliver, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform and our products and services;
provide subscriber and supporter access to Creator Sites, including processing payments, payouts, and refunds where applicable;
send communications, including by email, in-app message, or push notification, for transactional, account-related, support, security, and (where permitted) marketing purposes;
monitor and analyze trends, usage, and performance to improve the Platform;
verify your identity and prevent fraud, abuse, or other unauthorized or unlawful activity;
enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Content Policy, and other applicable policies; and
comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
We may also store or process information locally on your device.
With other Users
Information you choose to make public, such as your username, profile name, profile pictures, and bio.
Content you post or send will be shared with the Users who have access to the relevant Creator Site, area, or message thread.
Any additional information you have consented for us to share.
With Creators (if you are a Subscriber)
If you subscribe to or purchase from a Creator Site, the relevant Creator may receive information necessary to fulfill your purchase and operate their business, such as your username, the fact that you are a subscriber, your subscription status, your messages to them, and any information you choose to share with them. The Creator is the data controller for information you provide directly to them in their capacity as the operator of the Creator Site.
With service providers
We share information with vendors that help us operate the Platform, including hosting, storage, payments, payouts, identity verification, fraud prevention, communications, analytics, and customer-support providers. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
For legal reasons
We may share information about you if we reasonably believe disclosure is needed to:
comply with any valid legal process, governmental request, or applicable law, rule, or regulation;
investigate, remedy, or enforce potential Terms of Service violations;
protect the rights, property, and safety of VewMe, our Users, or others; and
detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
In connection with a corporate transaction
If VewMe LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, liquidation, or bankruptcy, we may share your information with the relevant counterparties and their advisors, before and after the transaction closes.
The Platform may include or interoperate with third-party content, services, plug-ins, or integrations (for example, payment processors, identity verification providers, email service providers, or analytics tools). Those third parties are subject to their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review those practices before using such integrations.
We may use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information. If we offer interest-based advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate notice and choices.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to reactivate the service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data about you within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly at support@vewme.com of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.
VewMe is based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your information, and the right to object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting support@vewme.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a User is under 18, please contact support@vewme.com and we will take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on the Platform and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
